Copper bookends made from material removed from the rebuild of the Frigate Constitution of 1927.
Inscription on medalion: "Old Ironsides -- Launched 1797, 1904 Tripoli 1812 Guerriere Java 1815 Cyane Levant -- Frigate Constitution"
Inscription on base: This material was removed from the Frigate Constitution 1927"
Size each: height 9", width 7", depth 2".

  This is my blog on "Old Ironsides"  -- The US Frigate Constitution. I have been collecting memorabilia related to "Old Ironsides" for about thirty years, and I have finally decided to move my catalog of the collection to a blog so that anyone interested in this material can see it.  It all started one day about 30 years ago when I purchased a model of the USF Constitution.  I couldn't just let it sit there gathering dust, so I built a mahogany and glass case for it.
