This is my blog on "Old Ironsides" -- The US Frigate Constitution. I have been collecting memorabilia related to "Old Ironsides" for about thirty years, and I have finally decided to move my catalog of the collection to a blog so that anyone interested in this material can see it. It all started one day about 30 years ago when I purchased a model of the USF Constitution. I couldn't just let it sit there gathering dust, so I built a mahogany and glass case for it. The base of the case has a drawer, and I acquired some USS Constitution brass drawer pulls, which I installed on the drawer. Soon afterward, I discovered some other interesting artifacts and memorabilia and bought them, adding them to my collection. Over the years, I have collected many items.
